Recently, the mad cow disease has become an major issue in Korea since the stupit new Korean president signed the new FTA deal. The major problem of contract is importing beefs from US that are older than 30months including ribs, livers (I heared most of bad stuffs are here) So I know American beefs are very dangerous. What about Canada? I know Europe and Austrailia is now safe but Im wondering about the Canadian beef

I am studying this concept: http://www.nytimes.com/2008/04/15/science/earth/15sola.html?_r=2&fta=y&oref=slogin Basically, heat is stored as MOLTEN SALT then converted to steam to run a turbine. 1) Table salt or some other salt? 2) Off-the-shelf thermos bottles? I would want flasks that can be carried in a pickup bed. 3) Off-the-shelf turbine combined with a generator? Should be 220v. 4) What is the cost and likely output of a test rig?

I am hoping to get a v+ box and I just wanted to know if there is any difference between the v+ box connection and the normal v box. I was wondering if there is anything stopping me from ordering the v+ box and just switching it around with my normal one. Thanks in advance

I just got a Hauppauge wintv 1600 tv tuner The card is installed and everything but I can't seem to get a picture. I have a desktop hooked up to my tv via S video cable. currect me if Im worong but with a S video cable you can hook up your computer to your tv. is It soposed to be on a certain channel? I tryed video 1,2 and 3 I don't even see the opperating system on my computer. Do I have the wrong cord? Also when I plugged in my cable cord from the wall into the tv in port for cable tv I just get the white fuzzy screen. thanks....

I have been trying & trying for almost a month now to burn movies I download from the internet onto dvdr's and I have been unsuccessful. Can someone tell what format I need to convert movies to in order to burn them successfully onto dvd's and be able to play them on a regular dvd player

Noticed that they are coming out with the Blue Ray DVD players and recorders now. They are very expensive too. I own a lot of DVD movies and I am happy with my plain old DVD player and recorder. They work fine and the Blue Rays are not only expensive, but to me a waste of time. What am I suppose to do, throw out all my DVD movies because they are a different format? Preposterous! Was wondering how many people out there have a regular DVD player and/or recorder like me and are not interested in Blue Ray???
