I have digital cable and its expensive.

I’ve heard of a few different ways to get cable cheap or free (slingbox or antenna)….

anyone know any good methods to get cheap/free cable?
What type of antenna gives good reception and is there a difference in the 20 dollar ones vs. the 50 dollar ones??

I wanted to make more than one copy of a movie that recorded off TV and I dont know how to make a copy of it by copying from the dvd into the recorder and then copy. It that possible?

I have been utilizing a DVD recorder at my parents house.Stuff is still recording on the hard drive, yet any time I try to transfer it to a disc, I get either, unsupported disc, no disc, or incompatable media…
I have tried it with a number of different brands of disc, and keep getting the same response. The machine actually let me burn something onto a disc, but ill not even allow me to finallize it on my recorder…comes up, no disc…(I do stuff at the folks, as I do not have cable…)

…any ideas? I would greatly appreciate any help…

My Memorex Drive reads discs with a “DVD-video” format just fine. But it doesn’t seem to recognize discs with a “DVD+R” format. Either doesn’t recognize them at all, or thinks they are audio (CD) discs.

ok so it might sound a little weird…but i wanna know if theres a channel with like yoga, tae-bo (sounds like ty-bo), or channels where they teach u dances and stuff. Also i dont want one of those channels where you have to pay a monthly fee…i want it to be free. Any suggestions…?
