Is it possible to burn a DVD from a website such as cbs.com and if so how do I do it?

I reloaded it, unplugged-replugged and have tried everything...first it said there was only 3 days worth of programing left, then 2, then 1 and now there's "no info"! HELP@@!!
I'm thinking about getting a TiVo Wireless Adapter and I know you are able to transfer your recordings to your computer. I was wondering if you can then burn those recordings onto a DVD that will play in any normal DVD player. I have a VAIO laptop, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to burn them to a DVD. I'll be really mad if I spend $60 or whatever to but the adapter, but then I'm not able to burn things to a DVD. Thanks so much in advance!!
my friend does not know wut kind of tv she has (ie::comcast, direct tv...etc.)
and she doesnt kno wut channel her ::the CW:: is on, her ::disney channel:: is 48.
